Social Responsibility

Social responsibility is a common rule of conduct and disciplined practice for groups and institutions, aiming at preserving man, the universe, and the rights of future generations, and developing man in terms of education, health and social aspects by providing housing and job opportunities for him, in addition to the safety of animals and plants, and the preservation of natural resources to create an environmental balance.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

The Social Responsibility Department at Al Baraka Sudanese Bank works to achieve the strategic objectives of Al Baraka Banking Group in terms of social responsibility, and it is under the direct supervision of the General Manager and Deputy General Manager. There is also a committee by the Bank's Board of Directors concerned with CSR affairs.
Achieving our goals is to make all of our business model socially responsible, except through direct support or funding for our customers who share the same concepts and values through partnership in real production operations with added value and benefit to all stakeholders including shareholders, customers, workers and our local communities in general, which results in the creation of wide job opportunities and the judiciary Overcoming poverty, ignorance and disease, stimulating innovation and economic, industrial and agricultural growth, and raising the level of awareness and understanding among the bank’s employees and customers of the importance of social responsibility.
